SAMPLE REPORTS

After the inspection, BoardWalk will produce a written inspection report for you. The report will be easy-to-read and understand. We will include pictures of the systems and components that were inspected. What is Inspected?

While we offer several inspection services and environmental testing, BoardWalk's most common "Full-Home" and "Move-In" inspections include a visual examination of the home's major structure, systems, and components that are visible and safely accessible.  We exceed the Standards of Practice by digging deeper into your home's systems to find issues that may not be apparent, but could be a problem later on.

During the full-home inspection, the following systems and components are inspected:

  1. Interior, exterior, walls, windows, and doors

  2. HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning)

  3. Basement, foundation, crawlspace, and structure

  4. Fireplace, chimney, and stove

  5. Roof, attic, insulation, & ventilation

  6. Electrical

  7. Plumbing & fuel supply

  8. Built-in appliances

  9. Kitchen, bathrooms, & laundry

  10. Garage

  11. ...and more!

Meet Your Inspector

Josh Walther

I've lived in Cheyenne with my wife and kids for more than 21 years.  Southeast Wyoming and northern Colorado are very familiar to us.  I understand best construction practices for the area and our unique weather.

I am an InterNACHI certified, thorough, knowledgeable, and trusted inspector with substantial construction experience and multiple certifications. I take pride in my work and in doing things right.  I make sure to follow and exceed a comprehensive Standards of Practice, and adhere to an inspection Code of Ethics.

My goal is to provide an understanding of the home's condition and most important components, as well as what's needed to maintain it.  I am passionate about helping people make sure their home is safe and working properly.  I respect privacy by focusing on the house, not personal belongings.

Choosing the right home inspector is crucial.  A good home inspection depends heavily on the inspector’s tools, effort, experience, and training.  If you allow me to be your inspector, I guarantee to give you my very best.
